Generating and editing images

The Image Gallery in the sidebar is where you generate and edit images. It's available on Pro and Premium plans, with a monthly allowance of 10 generations on Pro and 25 on Premium. Your remaining allowance is shown in Settings → Usage.
On the Free plan the gallery shows an upgrade prompt instead: Image generation is a Pro feature.
Generating an image
Open Image Gallery in the sidebar.
Describe what you want in the box: Describe what you want to see...
Pick a model from the selector.
Press Enter or click Generate.
The image appears in your gallery, and the editor opens automatically so you can refine it straight away.
Be specific. "A golden retriever puppy sitting on a red velvet armchair, warm afternoon light through a window, shot on 50mm" gets you further than "a dog".
Advanced settings
Click Settings above the prompt box to open the options:
Anything you change from its default shows as a badge next to the prompt box, so you can see at a glance what's applied. Reset All puts everything back.
Transparent backgrounds need PNG or WebP, since JPEG doesn't support transparency.
Reference images
Click Upload to add up to 6 reference images. Use them to guide style, composition or subject, or to hand the model an existing image to change. Once you attach one, the prompt changes to Describe how to change the image...
If the upload button is disabled, hover it for the reason:
{Model} can't use reference images. Choose a model that accepts image input. Switch model.
Maximum of 6 reference images. Remove one first.
Generating. Wait for the current image to finish. One at a time.
Editing and versions
Click any image in the gallery to open the editor.
Describe a change in the box at the bottom (Describe what to change…) and send. The result becomes a new version, and the original is kept. Versions build into a chain on the left: Original, Version 2, Version 3 and so on, each labelled with the prompt that produced it.
Click a version to select it. That does two things: it shows in the viewer, and it becomes the starting point for your next edit. So you can go back to Version 2, take a different direction from there, and keep both branches.
In the gallery, edited images collapse into a single stacked card with a badge showing how many versions it holds.
On mobile the editor splits into two tabs: Image and Edits.
Downloading and deleting
The viewer footer shows the prompt, the dimensions and file size, and two actions:
Download image saves the version you're viewing
Delete image offers a choice of Delete this version or Delete all {n}
Deleting one version leaves the rest of the chain in your gallery. Either way it can't be undone.
What counts against your allowance
Every generation counts, including each edit, since an edit produces a new image. When you've used them all:
Image generation limit exceeded for this billing period.
Generating also costs credits on top of the count, so an empty balance pauses image generation even if you have generations left:
You are out of credits. Your allowance resets next billing period, or you can top up now.
