Topping up with credit packs

Credit packs are one-off purchases that add credits to your account. They're the answer when you've used your monthly allowance and don't want to wait for the reset, or when you want the most powerful models without a subscription.
The packs
Larger packs carry more credits per dollar, and the modal shows the difference next to each one.
How purchased credits behave
They never expire. Unlike your monthly allowance, they carry over indefinitely.
They're spent last. Percy Chat always draws from your monthly allowance first, and only reaches for purchased credits once that's empty. Buying a pack early in the month doesn't waste it.
They unlock the most powerful models. The Credits badge models sit outside every plan's allowance and run on your balance directly. A positive balance opens them on any plan, including Free. See Model badges: Free, Credits, Pro and New.
They're not refundable, and they're forfeited if you delete your account.
Buying a pack
Go to Settings → Usage.
Click Top up on the credits card.
Pick a pack and click Buy for $X.
Checkout opens in a new tab.
Credits land in your account as soon as payment clears, and you're returned to the usage page where the new balance shows under Purchased credits. The purchase also appears in Recent credits, labelled Top-up.
Top up or upgrade?
Both add credits. Which is better depends on how regularly you'll use them.
Upgrade if you're running out most months. A Pro subscription gives you 6,000 credits for $10, the same price as the Starter pack's 10,000, but every month, plus access to all plan-included models, image generation and unlimited projects.
Top up if you've had an unusually heavy month, or you're on Free and want occasional access to the frontier models without a monthly commitment.
Many people do both: a subscription for the baseline, packs for the spikes.
